Event Contractor (Youth Workforce & Community Engagement)

Location:

Various event sites across Georgia (on-site and local travel); some virtual coordination may apply.

Compensation:

Hourly rate or flat event rate; based on experience and scope Position Summary Seeking passionate and organized Event Contractors to support the implementation of events and activities under our Work Ready and Community Distribution Programs. These programs provide hands-on learning opportunities for students with disabilities, including Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) such as job exploration tours and work-based learning experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Event Support & Logistics
• Coordinate and set up work-based learning activity stations (inventory sorting, distribution prep, etc.)
• Support execution of Pre-ETS job exploration tours at partner worksites or simulation spaces
• Facilitate job-readiness activities, such as resume workshops, role-plays, and mock interviews
• Ensure accessibility and inclusive participation for students with diverse needs
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe event spaces according to program guidelines
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Work alongside with team members, VR counselors, and local partners
• Complete session notes, attendance logs, and basic feedback forms
• Communicate supply and scheduling needs with program coordinators
• Represent the company’s values and mission in the community Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or higher in education, social work, or related field preferred
• Experience working with youth or individuals with disabilities (required)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Dependable, flexible, and able to follow event protocols
• Ability to lift 20 lbs and work on your feet during events
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (some travel required) Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Pre-ETS, WIOA, or vocational rehabilitation services
• Prior experience with special education, youth employment programs, or transition services
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain Schedule Events occur intermittently throughout the year (mostly weekdays between 9 AM
• 3 PM) Contractors will be notified of opportunities in advance and may select their availability
