Union/Non-Union Job Summary:
We’re in search of a Recovery Coach Supervisor to work on a full time basis at our Outpatient Clinic in our Recovery Coaching Program, part of our Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Division. The recovery coach supervisor is accountable to the Director of Recovery Coaching, who is responsible for providing supervision and training. The recovery coach supervisor is one who actively promotes the philosophy of the Gándara Center, and maintains a high level of commitment to the program.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate and support Peer Recovery Coaches Coordinate the scheduling of Recovery Coaches Model and encourage a supportive and productive team approach with fellow staff members, and coach staff as needed to maintain this attitude Liaison to referent agencies, coordinates intakes, and assigns coaches Insures the program and individual records are current, comprehensive and meet agency and funding source standards Facilitate individual and group supervision Liaison with families/guardians, and other outside service providers Completes all necessary weekly/monthly reports Implements agency / department policies and procedures Provide on-call (cell-phone) coverage for the recoverees of the program. Respond to staff coverage, routine questions and system navigation Supervises specialty recovery coaching with specific training on population including postpartum women, gambling, among others, as well as specific training and knowledge of special sites including emergency departments Travel, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
A recovery coach supervisor must have their Recovery Coach Supervisor Certificate from BSAS in addition to their CCAR Certificate.
