Crisis Response Counselor at Community Concepts Inc. in South Paris, Maine, United States Job Description We are hiring a Crisis Response Counselor in either our South Paris or Rumford Office. This position is responsible for providing emergency psychosocial assessments, referrals, and support in person to clients and is full-time at 36 hours per week.
Essential Duties:
Provides high quality crisis response in collaboration with local hospitals and community agencies
Conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating treatment recommendations
Seek and obtain appropriate level of care placements, including being the gatekeeper to referrals for the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Strong communication and documentation skills are a necessity, as well as ability to multitask and manage crisis situations

Desired Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Human Services or related field required
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field preferred
Previous experience is preferred and not required Obtain and maintain
