Hello, It’s Me® (https://hello-itsme.com) is a coaching platform and app dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) build meaningful relationships, improve social-emotional skills, and grow in confidence and independence.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging in-person Relationship Coach based in Missouri to work directly with individuals with IDD. This is a non-remote role , involving face-to-face coaching in individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead in-person individual and group coaching sessions focused on social skills and relationship-building. Support participants in areas like dating, friendship, communication, setting boundaries, and handling rejection. Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages personal growth and emotional regulation. Customize coaching sessions based on participant assessments and individual needs. Facilitate engaging group discussions and interactive learning activities. Commit to a flexible, part-time schedule with at least a 3-month availability.

Requirements:

Experience in relationship coaching, life coaching, counseling, or related fields. Strong understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals with IDD. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt content and delivery based on participant learning styles. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Must be based in Missouri and available for in-person sessions.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience working with individuals with IDD. Experience facilitating group sessions in small cohorts. Familiarity with coaching in areas such as: Friendship and social skills Dating, intimacy, and boundaries Life skills and self-advocacy

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour
