They offer academic support to students through outreach and point-of-need responses. Duties and Responsibilities Create and implement proactive communications plans to reach out to students Include time change reminders Include a variety of touch points including text, phone calls, and Zoom meetings Work with registrar to identify inactive students Assist with sending password reset links for Outlook Assist students with various technical needs involving Populi Be the first point of contact for students to request accommodations for learning differences Coach will work with VPAA, faculty, and other academic staff as necessary to implement Receive alerts when students are in danger of failure, work with students to establish necessary support Offer regular “office hours” where students can schedule meetings Serve as a writing tutor for students Expectations Be conversant in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel) Master’s degree preferred Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills Be familiar with SBL formatting The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable working individually as well as part of a team.
