Job Coach Testing 1 100 Main Ave N, Magee, MS 39111 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards personal and professional growth. This position requires a strong commitment to educating and mentoring participants, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. The Coach will be responsible for developing training programs, recruiting new participants, and providing addiction counseling as needed. Responsibilities Educate participants on various skills essential for personal development and workforce readiness. Recruit individuals for coaching programs, ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment. Develop tailored training programs that address the unique needs of each participant. Mentor individuals, providing guidance and support throughout their development journey. Offer addiction counseling services to those in need, fostering a supportive atmosphere for recovery. Work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, adapting coaching techniques to suit their specific requirements. Conduct interviews to assess the needs and goals of participants, facilitating effective coaching strategies. Collaborate with other professionals in workforce development to enhance program offerings and participant outcomes. Maintain accurate records of participant progress and adjust coaching methods as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in educating or mentoring individuals in a professional setting. Background in recruiting or workforce development is preferred. Strong skills in training development, with the ability to create engaging learning experiences. Experience in addiction counseling is a plus, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards participants’ challenges. Familiarity with working with people who have developmental disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Excellent interviewing skills to effectively assess participant needs and aspirations. A background in social work or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with participants and stakeholders.
