Broadstep Behavioral Health Inc. is seeking a QualifiedProfessional to join our Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT).The ACT program is a direct and indirect periodic service where theACTT staff provides direct intervention and arranges, coordinates,and monitors services on behalf of the recipient. This service isprovided in any location. ACTT services are primarily provided in arange of community settings such as recipients home, school,homeless shelters, libraries, etc.

Schedule& Location:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with regular travelto consumers in the respective metro area.

JobDuties:
One-on-one intervention with the consumer to developinterpersonal and coping skills including adaptation to home,school and work environment. Assist client with development ofskills for self-management and monitoring of symptoms Assistingeach person we support to identify and communicate his or herrequests and needs for services and supports through directinterviews Supervising, integrating and coordinatingperson-centered plans and monitoring progress towards personal,clinical and functional outcomes Initiating periodic reviews,investigations, modifications, and adjustments by soliciting thefeedback of the people we support as their needs and goals changeReviewing assessments completed by the people we support and othermembers of the interdisciplinary team to best help the people wesupport to meet their full potentials Supervising and writing theperson-centered plan based on assessments, interviews, andobservations Monitoring activities to ensure that quality assuranceand/or state survey improvements are being made All other duties asassigned
Required Education/Experience:
A masters degree in a humanservice field and 1 year of full-time, post-graduate degreeaccumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or asubstance abuse professional who has one year of full-time,postgraduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholismand drug abuse counseling. OR a bachelors degree in a human servicefield and 2 years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree accumulatedmh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substanceabuse professional who has two years of full-time, a postbachelor’s degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholismand drug abuse counseling. OR a bachelors degree in a field otherthan human services and 4 years of full-time, post-bachelor’sdegree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served,or a substance abuse professional who has four years of full-time,post-bachelor’s degree accumulated supervised experience inalcoholism and drug abuse counseling. A valid driver’s license,auto insurance, and reliable transportation Strong clinicalknowledge of the treatment/service needs of the clients served.
Skills in assessing strengths and needs, treatment plandevelopment, and clinical service implementation.
