Broadstep BehavioralHealth Inc. is seeking a Qualified Professional to join ourCommunity Support Team (CST) that provides direct clinical care toadults and children in our community based and in-home careprograms in North Carolina. This position works closely with otherclinical members of a defined team and serves an integral role inthe treatment of patients in the behavioral health continuum.

Schedule & Location:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

JobType:

This is a community-based role that is not eligible forremote work.

Job Duties:

Assists with crisis interventions. Assiststhe Team Lead with behavioral and substance use disorder treatmentinterventions. Assists with the development of relapse preventionand disease management strategies. Participates in the initialdevelopment, implementation, and ongoing revision of the PCP.Communicates the individuals progress and the effectiveness of thestrategies and interventions to the Team. Lead as outlined in thePCP. Provides intensive case management. Linkage and referral toformal and informal supports. Monitoring and follow up of assignedcaseload. Completes functional needs assessment(s) to determine thescope and anticipated outcomes to the services. Assist with theindividuals housing search including engaging landlords to rent toindividuals and writing reasonable accommodation letters. Assistwith connecting individuals to financial and in-kind resources toset up and maintain their household. Prevent and mitigate housingcrises including being a point of contact for landlord concerns.

Assist with rehousing individuals if they are no longer able tostay in their unit due to eviction or risk of eviction. Assist indeveloping daily living skills to stabilize and maintainhousing.

Required Education/Experience:

A masters degree in a humanservice field and 1 year of full-time, post-graduate degreeaccumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or asubstance abuse professional who has one year of full-time,postgraduate degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholismand drug abuse counseling. OR a bachelors degree in a human servicefield and 2 years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree accumulatedmh/dd/sa experience with the population served, or a substanceabuse professional who has two years of full-time, a postbachelor’s degree accumulated supervised experience in alcoholismand drug abuse counseling. OR a bachelors degree in a field otherthan human services and 4 years of full-time, post-bachelor’sdegree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served,or a substance abuse professional who has four years of full-time,post-bachelor’s degree accumulated supervised experience inalcoholism and drug abuse counseling. A valid driver’s license,auto insurance, and reliable transportation Strong clinicalknowledge of the treatment/service needs of the clients served.

Skills in assessing strengths and needs, treatment plandevelopment, and clinical service implementation.
