Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Support Services Associate position in Building Environmental Services & Recycling duties include but are not limited to: Maintain equipment inventory and repair records. Compile maintenance checklist and report needs to BES Zone Supervisor. Complete individual duties and responsibilities as assigned. Test and suggest recommendations on supply and equipment purchases. Operates assigned vehicles on and/or off campus. Minimum Experience /

Required Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or successful completion of its equivalency and one year of relevant experience in the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalency. Two years’ experience demonstrating the ability to perform a range of services to support the operations of the equipment and supply chain management team. Ability to properly use and care for all manual and power equipment and chemicals required in Building Environmental Services and floor care functions. Strong customer service orientation. Effective comprehensive skills in verbal, written and interpersonal communications needed for position. Knowledge and skill with Google Chrome, Microsoft Word and Excel, and willingness to learn new programs required. Ability to effectively work/interact and to foster and create an atmosphere of teamwork. Operates assigned vehicles on and/or off campus and is required to possess, maintain, or obtain a valid driver’s license upon appointment to the position.
