Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Career Advisor position in Troy, NC. This is a long-term opportunity with full-time business hours, Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in career advisement, workshop facilitation, and case management. A customer-first attitude, excellentmunication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential. If you meet the qualifications below, we encourage you to today!
Responsibilities for the Career Advisor include, but are not limited to:
Build strong one-on-one relationships with clients to help ovee barriers to employment.
Conduct individualized assessments and provide consistent,prehensive case management and follow-up.
Lead orientations for new customers and ensure oues and goals are met per contract requirements.
Facilitate professional development workshops and ensure high-quality, business-relevant content.
Maintain ananized database of client interactions and ensure thorough documentation of all activities.
Assist with enrollment documentation and ensure participants follow through with program milestones.
Make appropriate referrals tomunity or social service agencies when necessary.
Track placement data and assist with preparation of participation and placement reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to manage programponents, from workshops to grant disbursement.
Work with the business services team to align client training with job market demands.
Support center-wide operations, includingpliance standards and intake services.
Participate in staff training, professional development, and process improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Healthcare, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in career advisement, workforce development, or related roles.
Strong facilitation and public speaking skills; experience developing and delivering workforce curricula.
Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Ability to maintain flexibility and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office and Google Docs required.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholders and goals.
Understanding of various career paths; healthcare knowledge a plus.
Customer service experience is required.
