Job Description

Wellness and Recovery Specialist Seacoast Pathways Portsmouth, NH 03801 Seacoast Pathways Clubhouse is a dynamic program for adults experiencing mental health conditions and/or brain injuries that offers individuals hope, and the chance to move beyond their illness and achieve their full potential. The model is unique in that it is not clinical or illness-centered and instead focuses on the strengths of each individual and the power of the Clubhouse community. Staff also support in managing supported employment placements and staffing social events and holiday hours. This is a direct service, psychiatric rehabilitation program that adheres to Clubhouse International standards. All staff help to provide the core relationship that engages participants in a work unit to further their psychiatric, vocational, and social rehabilitation. Staff also support in managing supported employment placements as necessary. The Staff Generalist partners with members, conducting daily activities that support Clubhouse programming and building relationships. Staff and members are involved in all of the daily operation of the clubhouse including clerical work, outreach communications, luncheon prep, data entry, event planning and other work that arises within the Clubhouse. Responsibilities Maintain timely and compliant documentation of services provided with respect to funding source requirements. Assist in orienting new staff, interns, and volunteers to Clubhouse culture, structure, and daily expectations. Contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships that enhance opportunities for members in areas such as employment, education, and civic engagement. Ensures member engagement with all Clubhouse opportunities, including planning, coordinating, and executing daily work alongside Clubhouse members. Utilize a strength-based approach to help members in developing and regularly updating personal, career and wellness goals. Assist members in accessing needed community services and supports while promoting member’s self-sufficiency. Foster a supportive and inclusive recovery environment in which members feel wanted, needed, and expected. Provide leadership with members in relationship to Clubhouse mission, goals and philosophy. Staff clubhouse social and recreational programs. Must have flexibility to staff holiday hours on a rotational basis Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. AS, BA or equivalent preferred: social work, psychology, education, occupational therapy, human services, behavioral health, or related field. At least one year of experience or personal knowledge of mental illness and/or other neurological brain disorders, and a demonstrated passion to support individuals to reach their potential and have the highest quality of life possible.

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
