Position Overview :
The Training and Apprenticeships for Careers in Construction (TACC) Pre-Apprenticeship Program Associate plays a critical role in delivering and supporting a high-quality pre-apprenticeship program serving high school students and out-of-school young adults in Burlington and Camden counties. This position combines instruction, case management, and workforce development support to guide participants through the CORE (Construction Orientation Readiness Education) technical skills curriculum and our essential workplace readiness training. The Pre-Apprenticeship Program Associate is responsible for helping participants build the skills, confidence, and connections needed to enter employment or Registered Apprenticeship Programs in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver CORE and workplace readiness training curriculum to multiple cohorts, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Conduct outreach and recruitment efforts in coordination with schools, community organizations, and workforce partners.
- Provide case management services, including one-on-one support, mentorship, life skills, and connection to supportive services.
- Track participant attendance, progress, and outcomes; maintain detailed case notes and perform accurate data entry.
- Contribute to monthly grant reporting and monitor participant-related budget items and spending.
- Build and maintain relationships with construction employers, unions, and apprenticeship programs and other industry partners, to support participant placements.
- Implement job readiness and job placement activities, including resume development, interview prep, and referrals to employment or apprenticeships.

$58,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
