Varies, Flexible Schedule (must be available to work nights and weekends)

PURPOSE:

To provide direct operational oversight of vocational programs including small group supported employment and provide individualized Supported Employment Services. To function as a job developer, job coach, and activity planner for individuals with developmental disabilities. Will perform all duties necessary to meet state approved objectives, including the requirement that the employee cooperate with the Department of Human Services, the licensee, and the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS), in any inspection or investigation. Responsibilities also include the management of services regarding the health, safety and/or welfare of enrolled Consumers of Allies, Inc. services, Support Managers, Allies, Inc. Administrative staff, and the

DDD/DVRS. REQUIREMENTS

Have an Associate’s degree or higher in a related field from an accredited college or university or have a high school diploma or equivalent with three (3) years of related experience. Be familiar with the demands and expectations of business and industry. Valid unrestricted driver’s license with good driving record Proof of valid auto insurance coverage. Ability to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds The ability to sit, bend, squat, reach, be agile, physically pursue clients on foot and stand for several hours at a time The ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English and direct/respond to client’s needs Basic Computer Literacy At least 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILL LEVEL

RESPONSIBILITIES

The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. The ability to travel to various vocational programs. The ability to be organized, make full schedule of appointments and have great follow up The ability to manage your daily schedule, making needed appointments to fulfill quotas of billable hours required in the service provided. Provide transportation in personal vehicle Provide all phases of Supported Employment Services Work in other Allies programs as requested by supervision. Have the flexibility to provide all services within the Vocational Services Department as assigned. Promote and maintain the positive public image of Allies Inc. Meet quality assurance and compliance standards of services provided in regard to required documentation, medical information, daily logs, weekly reports, calendars, and incident reports for the services provided. Display exceptional communication skills with clients, supervisors, emergency personnel and community members. Display the ability to think calmly and clearly during an emergency situation, and assist clients in medical facilities during medical emergencies. Successfully completes required residential training, including but not limited to: New Hire Orientation; CPR and First Aid; Medication Administration; Preventing Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation; Shifting Expectations, Life Experience and Services; Life Threatening Emergencies (Danielle’s Law); Stephen Komninos’ Law; Crisis Management; Corporate Compliance; General Behavior; In-House Orientation; and other required trainings. Other duties as assigned.
