Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Employment Specialist to provide career support and case management services, with a focus on assisting veterans in securing meaningful employment. The ideal candidate will have strong counseling or case management experience, be computer literate, and demonstrate a passion for helping others succeed in the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized employment counseling and job placement assistance Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community partners Assist clients with resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies Maintain accurate case files and documentation in the system Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and employers to support job retention Facilitate employment-related workshops and training sessions Coordinate services with internal teams and external resources Advocate for veteran clients and help address barriers to employment
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) required Case management or counseling experience required Experience working with veterans preferred Strong computer skills required Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
