JOB SUMMARY
The Unit Coordinator will assists with maintaining a safe and hazard free environment by observing and documenting patient behavior, conducting patient room searches, reporting unsafe conditions and applying appropriate emotional and physical support. Will performs or assist with the admission of new patients by gathering routine information for nursing assessment, searches patients and belongings for contraband, documents belongings and other appropriate information. The Unit Coordinator also orients the patient and patient’s family to the facility and the policies and procedures, and assists with leading daily unit based groups.
Hours:
10am – 6pm
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize patient activity schedule, unit rules and group structure to maintain consistency in the milieu
Provides clerical and reception duties in support of the department at the nurses station and ensures patient program schedule is carried out as planned
Assist with the duties of an MHT as necessary.

Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School Diploma but strongly prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field. Must have been an MHT at Three Rivers Behavioral for at least (1) year.
