Scholars Bowl Coach/Advisor Needed Location:

Champlain Valley Union High School CVU is looking for a Scholars Bowl Advisor starting in the fall of 2025. This position is a multi-faceted position that involves recruiting students, preparing students for scholars bowl competitions, and attending tournaments. The scholars bowl season runs from mid-October to the end of March. The successful candidate will have prior experience with scholars bowl (either as a member of a scholars bowl team, or coaching) and have the ability to work collaboratively with motivated students. The practice schedule is flexible and is typically an agreed upon decision with the members of the team in conjunction with the coach’s schedule. The tournament schedule for the year will be shared at the initial meeting, but most tournaments are primarily between the end of October to early January with playoff happening later in the year. This is a Category III position on our co-curricular contract and compensation is based on the collective bargaining agreement. If selected, the candidate will need to complete a fingerprinting and criminal records check prior to being confirmed for the position.
