The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care and a strong understanding of client’s rights. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, medication reminders, and ensuring their overall well-being in a comfortable home environment. Including light administrative responsivities as required. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Assist with medication reminders and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly and assist with basic health monitoring. Develop and follow care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Assist with safe transfers and mobility support. Support clients with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients through light housekeeping tasks Document care provided and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Uphold client rights by ensuring dignity, respect, and privacy in all interactions. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients. Escort clients to appointments, social activities, and errands as needed. Observe and report changes in clients’ physical or emotional condition to the care team. Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and communicate effectively with team members. Assist with administrative tasks when caregiver work is light, including scheduling and data entry.
