Direct Care Tech- Florence, AL Scope 310 Authority Florence, AL 35630 Full Time and Part Time positions available in Florence, AL. Must be able to work weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Looking for evenings, nights, weekend shifts
• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in their home and community
• Assist with transporting people to and from home, work, day center.
• Assist with all activities of daily living as needed
• Assist with meal preparation and eating
• Assist with social interaction and recreation
• General supervision with oversight
• Regular standing, walking, sitting, use of hands and arms
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Implement the Person-Centered Plan
• Complete appropriate documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license, have a good driving record and be insurable
• Must be able to clear a State and Federal background check.
