Responsibilities Provide patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support senior care by engaging clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to resident rights and preferences. Monitor patients’ health conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist individuals with disabilities in their daily routines, promoting independence while ensuring safety. Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and other team members through effective communication and collaboration. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home community care is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of patient monitoring techniques and caregiving best practices. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients’ needs effectively. Ability to perform light cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a safe living environment for clients. Excellent interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care. A genuine passion for helping others, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
