Caregiver/Personal Assistant Comforting Hands Home Care Services LLC Tuskegee, AL 36083 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, memory care, and home community care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in caregiving and be skilled in assisting individuals with daily activities while fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support. Provide meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Support clients in maintaining their independence while offering companionship and emotional support. Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Lift and transfer clients safely as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor client health and report any changes or concerns. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members regarding client well-being. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or personal assistance is preferred, particularly in assisted living or similar environments. Knowledge of memory care techniques and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to lift and support clients as necessary while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality care delivery.
