Key Responsibilities:
Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding Provide support with independent living skills Perform housekeeping and meal preparation Administer prescribed and over-the-counter medications (with certification) Transport clients to community outings, health appointments, and day programs Support clients in recreational and leisure activities Monitor and document client behavior, routines, and well-being Complete accurate reports including daily logs, medication records, and incident reports Maintain household equipment and communicate repair needs Conduct safety drills (fire, tornado, etc.) Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be at least 30 years old Must be physically able to lift 25 lbs Emotionally stable and dependable High school diploma or GED (Required) Valid Class D driver’s license (Required if transporting clients) Must pass a Criminal Background Check & Drug Screening Must complete
Medication Administration Certification Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in caregiving or direct care (preferred)
Shifts Available:
8-hour and 12-hour shifts Day, Night, and Overnight Overtime available Schedules based on client needs
