) Peace Of Mind Care Madison County, AL Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including seniors and those with disabilities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and companionship. This position requires a strong commitment to the well-being of others, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide memory care and support for individuals with cognitive impairments. Implement care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times. Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating activities that promote independence and social engagement. Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home or group home setting. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client progress and needs. Document care provided and any changes in client condition accurately in care logs. Requirements Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of memory care techniques and best practices is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training may be provided. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to follow care plans accurately while being flexible to adapt to changing client needs. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
