The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care settings, with experience in assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and memory care. This role is essential in ensuring that our participants receive the highest quality of care while maintaining their dignity and independence. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to participants, including help with ADLs such as eating and toileting. Engage dementia participants in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for participants ensuring that all areas are tidy and free from hazards. Collaborate with team members and family members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs. Document weekly blood pressure monitoring and any changes in participants condition while in adult day care setting. Experience Previous experience in assisted living, or retirement home settings is preferred. Knowledge of dementia care techniques and memory support strategies is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with participants and their families. Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to health and safety standards.
