Caregiver Holistic Care Group Homes 2215 Danville Road Sw NW, Decatur, AL 35601 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care in a home or community setting. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while following care plans. Duties Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and well-being of clients. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals. Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times. Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments or social events. Deliver hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort and dignity for end-of-life patients. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Skills Experience in home care or senior care is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in meal preparation that meets dietary restrictions and preferences. Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable. Strong observational skills to detect changes in client health or behavior promptly. Empathy and patience when working with individuals requiring assistance. Knowledge of hospice care principles is an advantage for those working with terminally ill patients. Familiarity with home community care practices to enhance client independence.
