Direct Service Provider (DSP) Yell County Special Services Center 418 N 7th St, Ola, AR 72853 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Service Provider to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with varying needs, in a group home setting. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through direct support, personal care, and engaging activities. •This position is for our Ola group home, Saturday & Sunday – 12hr shifts. If the applicant is needing more hours weekly, there is an opportunity to pick up additional work hours during the week. Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities, including personal hygiene and grooming. Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met. Implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and skill development. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Monitor and document clients’ progress and any changes in behavior or health status. Administer first aid as needed and respond appropriately to emergencies. Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive care. Transport and supervise clients on community outings (shopping, religious events, recreational activities, etc) Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with autism or in a group home setting is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with direct support work, including lifting and assisting clients as needed. A caring attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care.
