Bilingual Spanish PCA Needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to individuals in need, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed.

Skills:

• Experience in assisted living or patient care settings preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for transportation assistance.
• Knowledge of social work principles and practices.
• Familiarity with dementia care techniques and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to provide childcare if necessary.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
