Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by promoting independence and ensuring their well-being. This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth and development. Shift Hours are from 6:30AM-12:30 NOON

FRIDAY MUST BE RELIABLE!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement individualized care plans and support goals
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients
• Promote socialization and community integration
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and activities
• Perform heavy lifting as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
• Knowledge of social work principles and caregiving techniques
• Familiarity with home care practices
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role
• Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them
• First aid certification is a must
