As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals who may have developmental disabilities or other health challenges. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and assistance with meals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment. Implement care plans tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring adherence to resident rights and dignity. Monitor and document changes in clients’ conditions and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus. Familiarity with care plans and resident rights is essential. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or in nursing home settings is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility assistance. Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor are crucial for success in this role. A background in social work or related fields can be beneficial, but is not mandatory.
