We are now serving individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, ensuring they receive the dignity, support, and attention they deserve. We are actively seeking experienced In-Home Care Aid to join our growing team as part of the Broward County Elderly and Veterans Services Division’s Community Care for the Elderly Program and Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized in-home care and support for elderly clients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Assist with daily living activities, including grooming, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Implement care plans in coordination with case managers. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful, therapeutic activities. Monitor client safety, well-being, and promptly report changes in condition. Communicate regularly with family members and care teams to ensure quality service.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in In-Home Care Services or Adult Day Care. Proven experience working with elderly clients, specifically those with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and respectful care. Strong communication and observation skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Preferred:

Familiarity with Community Care for the Elderly (CCE) Program, Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative (ADI), and local elder care resources in Broward County. Why Join Us?
