Caregivers Living Light LLC dba Sophies Angel Care [Operating since 2018 in the counties of Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Lee and Sarasota] 4851 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL 34103 Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to patient well-being, dignity, and respect. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide medication administration as per prescribed schedules and ensure adherence to resident rights. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed. Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times. Provide memory care for clients experiencing cognitive challenges, including those requiring hospice care. Collaborate with nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Must have completed CNA training program of at least 75 hours or actual caregiver experience of at least 1 year. Must have the maturity necessary for establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with the patient, the patient’s family and Agency staff. Must have a sincere and passionate interest in caring for the sick and disabled at home and/or assisted living facilities. Ability to assist with patient care tasks while respecting resident rights and privacy. CPR certification is highly desirable; training may be provided if necessary. Must have or willing to undergo HIV/AIDS and Dementia/Alzheimer’s training Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
