Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, medication administration, and providing companionship to those under your care. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration. Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients to promote their mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring clients are safely moved within their home or community. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs tailored to their interests. Skills Experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient observation techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
