Companion Needed for a Young Adult with
Down Syndrome Gentle Home Care Of Central Florida Nocatee, FL Benefits:
Weekly Pay – every Friday w/ Direct Deposit We are seeking a patient and dedicated companion for a 22-year-old female client with Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and autism. The client is working on enhancing her communication skills, increasing independence, and engaging more in social interactions.
Responsibilities:
Accompany the client on community outings, supporting her in navigating new environments and social settings. Encourage and assist in improving communication skills and social engagement. Foster independence by promoting decision-making and self-care skills in daily activities. Engage in positive, supportive conversations to build rapport and enhance her interpersonal skills. Provide minimal assistance with personal hygiene as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with disabilities. Reliable transportation is required. Must pass a Level 2 background check.
Schedule:
Part Time 3 hours shifts Monday – Friday 12 hours a week
