Lawn Care Worker Freedom ground works Jacksonville, FL 32246 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes and providing exceptional lawn care services. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure the health and aesthetics of lawns and gardens. The Lawn Care Specialist will be responsible for performing a range of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep of residential and commercial properties. Duties Perform regular lawn maintenance including mowing, edging, and trimming to enhance the appearance of lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks. Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns. Conduct groundskeeping activities such as planting, fertilizing, and mulching. Provide tree care services including pruning and removal as necessary. Assist in hardscape projects like building patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Manage snow plowing duties during winter months to maintain safe access for clients. Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing. Communicate with clients regarding their lawn care needs and provide recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and snow plowing equipment is essential. Knowledge of groundskeeping practices including irrigation techniques is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
