The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in offering non-medical personalized care and companionship to individuals with disabilities. This role is vital in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized care and support. Key Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores to ensure a clean and safe environment. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients to enhance their social well-being. Transportation Safety and Advocacy Documentation Qualifications Must be 18 years of age and one year of experience with working in a medical, psychiatric, nursing or childcare setting, or working with recipients having developmental disabilities. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, patience, and the ability to build relationships. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with car insurance.
