As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs, including those with autism and other developmental challenges. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and grooming. Monitor patients’ health and report any changes in condition to appropriate personnel. Ensure that residents’ rights are respected and upheld at all times. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support individuals in nursing home settings or home care environments as needed. Administer CPR or first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create personalized care plans that meet individual needs. Experience Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or long-term care settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and the ability to recognize signs of distress or discomfort. Knowledge of resident rights and the importance of maintaining dignity in care practices. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Certification in CPR or first aid is highly desirable.
