For the Milton location, we are looking for someone who would be interested in being a “live-in” staff member Monday-Friday with weekends off. The pay starts at $68,640 a year. The staff member would get paid a biweekly rate of $2,640. In the Pensacola location, we are looking for someone
WEEKENDS ONLY.
This individual would come in Friday night and leave Monday morning. Their pay will be $1,504.80 bi-weekly. Again, this pay is just working the weekend schedule. We are looking for experienced individuals only who have a strong background in working with people with Intellectual Disabilities. We are also looking for someone who has done Live-in care giving before. If you do not meet those two qualifications, no need to apply as you would not meet requirements needed for employment. In both locations, live-in staff would be responsible for taking care of five (5) male residents. All residents are mobile and can ambulate themselves. All residents leave during the day to go to a day program and return later in the afternoon. Some of these residents can exhibit behaviors such as cussing, yelling, etc when upset. So looking for someone who can navigate these behaviors appropriately. Responsibilities and qualifications required are listed below. Responsibilities Include:
Teaching skills to promote independence Supporting community inclusion and integration (this means taking residents on outings utilizing company van) Assisting with daily living needs (cooking, cleaning, providing medications to residents) Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationships Provide guidance and support in daily activities Take residents to provider appointments as needed Helping residents de-escalate when they are upset
Qualifications Include:
