centralhaven-care.com/Employment Caregiver positions We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Caregivers /Companions to provide essential support to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in care giving, particularly for those with developmental disabilities . This role requires a proactive individual who is capable of managing various tasks while ensuring the well-being and comfort of the client. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, patient observation, and providing direct support a private home setting. • Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Transportation to and from your client’s appointments and activities
• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client
• Support clients in engaging in social activities and community involvement to promote their independence and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and any incidents or concerns.
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client’s unique needs by collaborating with your Central Haven team and your client’s family We’re a great fit for you if you:
• 18 years old +
• Possess a High School diploma/GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have 1+ years experience as Personal Support caregiver, Companion or similar role
• Have proof of Florida residency
• Have the ability to pass a Local & Level II Background Screening
• Have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Can complete immediate required FREE training courses for certification
• Are CPR/1st Aid Certified (Willing to obtain within 90 days)
• Have access to a Smartphone
• Have 1 Letter of Reference
