Position:

Direct Care Staff Job Summary As a Direct Care Staff member, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing compassionate assistance and support. You will be responsible for delivering day-to-day care and fostering a safe, nurturing environment for individuals who require help with their daily living activities. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Administer treatments and medications as directed by medical professionals. Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs are met. Maintain a clean and organized living environment by making beds, handling laundry, and general housekeeping. Run errands, shop for groceries, and manage household supplies. Observe and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to supervisors promptly. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, encouraging their engagement in social and recreational activities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a caregiving or direct care role preferred but not required. Ability to follow care plans and administer medications accurately. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in caregiving is a plus. “

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to lift and carry, stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
