Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at McClain Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met while fostering their independence and well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation. Provide patient observation and report any changes in residents’ conditions. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in social interactions and community integration. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Ability to administer medications safely and accurately. Compassionate attitude towards supporting individuals in their daily lives. Willingness to assist with lifting or transferring residents as needed.
