We are looking for Direct Support Professional staff to join our team and provide support to individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will assist residents with daily activities, promote independence, have a compassionate and patient demeanor, excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as cooking, bathing, grooming, and dressing and cleaning Assist individuals with disabilities with their daily living activities Administer medication(s) according to 65g-7 guidelines Aid in implementing treatments, training programs, and developmental/behavioral plans Encourage community participation Document all observations and daily progress notes Communicate effectively with team members Assist individuals in performing their cleaning responsibilities Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and shopping Transporting residents to and from work and day programs Always ensure the safety and well-being of residents Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents to thrive Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements:

Must be 18 years or older with a High school diploma or GED required Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening & Local Law 1 year of employment reference and 3 personal references Valid Driver’s license and good driving record CPR/BLS Certification Zero Tolerance, APD HIPPA, HIV/AIDS, Direct Care Core Competency PCM Behavior assistant Available shifts :

• Thursday 2PM-11PM, Friday 2PM-11PM, Saturday 9AM-11PM, Sunday 2PM-10PM
• Monday 11PM-9AM, Tuesday 11PM-9AM, Wednesday 11PM-9AM, Thursday 11PM-9AM
• Wednesday 2PM-11PM, Thursday 2PM-9PM, Friday 2PM-9PM, Saturday 12PM-8PM, Sunday 12PM-9
