The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing supporting patient. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our mother by offering personalized care and support in their daily activities. Duties Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition. Support our mother with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety and comfort. Engage her in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Provide companionship and emotional support to her, fostering a trusting relationship. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Previous experience in home health, assisted living, or memory care settings is a plus. Ability to administer medication safely and accurately. Strong observational skills to monitor patient health and report changes effectively. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Must be able to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings and weekends. Certification as a nurse or relevant caregiving qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
