We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights and a deep understanding of home health practices, including dementia care and support for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients to ensure their safety and comfort. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients’ health status, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety protocols. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Respect client privacy and confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations. Support clients with meal preparation, medication reminders, and other daily tasks as needed. Foster positive relationships with clients while advocating for their rights and preferences. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or assisted living settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to uphold these principles in daily interactions. Familiarity strategies for working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong observational skills to monitor client conditions effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
