At The Legacy Care At Home, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care tailored to elderly and aging individuals throughout Tampa Bay and the surrounding communities. We work closely with families to develop personalized care plans, facilitating smooth hospital-to-home transitions and specialized care for conditions including dementia, stroke recovery, Parkinson’s, and continuous around-the-clock support.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and retain qualified caregivers. Manage the full-cycle hiring process, including job postings, resume screening, candidate interviewing, pre-employment screenings, licensure verification, reference checks, and job offers. Conduct comprehensive interviews using proven selection methods to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, aptitude, and cultural fit. Oversee new employee onboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration into our team. Serve as the primary contact for applicants, providing face-to-face support at the office. Coordinate local recruitment initiatives, participate in job fairs, and assist in creating compelling recruitment materials to attract diverse talent pools. Manage, update, and maintain accuracy in our Applicant Tracking System (ClearCare). Ensure HR employment records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with applicable laws (personnel files, medical/confidential documents, W-4, I-9, etc.). Input and maintain employee data across employment, payroll, and scheduling systems. Schedule caregiver assignments, manage scheduling changes, and handle on-call duties as required. Coordinate ongoing employee training, certifications, and compliance screenings. Conduct regular audits of employee files to ensure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulations. Perform general office duties, including answering phones and administrative tasks, to support operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in Home Care administrative operations, staffing, or scheduling. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma required with relevant Home Care experience. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred. CNA License (preferred but not required)
