We’re looking to add to our team of caregivers and are searching for mature and compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds. This ensures a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to encourage a deep and meaningful connection. Seniors Helping Seniors® caregivers also help with daily tasks like light house cleaning, yardwork, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. Additionally, we offer respite care and 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Responsibilities :

Companionship and Homemaker Duties may include: Provide Companionship Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc. Shopping and Errands Meal Preparation Medication Reminders Overnight Supervision Incidental Transportation to doctor’s appointments, family or their favorite restaurant Personal Care Duties may include: Assist with Dressing Assist with Feeding Assist with Showering / Bathing Mobility Assistance Assist with Toileting / Incontinence Memory Care Qualifications Enjoy working with our senior population Be a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individual Understand the importance of our services to our seniors Have positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS mission Ability to follow detailed instructions to execute our care plan Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completed Join our team of dedicated professionals who are making a difference in the lives of those we serve!
