As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being in a safe and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, and housekeeping tasks. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ social interactions and overall mental health. Implement individualized care plans as directed by healthcare professionals or case managers. Monitor and document clients’ progress and any changes in behavior or health status. Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Medical terminology to effectively communicate client needs and understand care requirements. Case management systems for tracking client progress and coordinating services. Childcare experience may be beneficial when working with younger clients or those with developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medication administration practices to ensure compliance with prescribed regimens. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism to foster an inclusive environment.
