Home Care Provider Joyful Haven Supportive Services Astor, FL 32102 Job Overview As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others and has the ability to work independently. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Provide assistance with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety. Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors to appropriate healthcare personnel. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Support clients by providing emotional support and companionship. Facilitate home community care by engaging clients in social activities and promoting independence. Skills Experience in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs. Knowledge of home care practices, including patient observation techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with the ability to provide emotional support during challenging times. Organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records and documentation. Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans. Day shift and night shift available: Set schedule with rotating 4 days one week, 3 days the following week.
