In Home Caregiver Whispering Hands LLC Eustis, FL 32727 Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly the elderly and those with special needs. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence while delivering personalized care. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and record client health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Help with medication management and reminders as directed by healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs and progress. Support clients in mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities. Ensure adherence to care plans developed by healthcare professionals. Skills Knowledge of geriatric care principles and practices is highly desirable. Experience in clinical settings such as hospitals or teaching hospitals is a plus. Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols, particularly in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers. Ability to provide care for patients requiring inpatient support or those in specialized units like PICU. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others are essential traits for success in this role. Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans and protocols.
