Casual Work Attire Flexible Schedule We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Professional Caregiver. This position offers flexible scheduling, including availability for evening and night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive assistance and supervision to Residents with their daily living activities, encompassing dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and toileting. Foster companionship through engaging conversation and attentive interaction with Residents. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment. Prepare meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Assist Residents with medication administration under supervision.
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect. Strong communication skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor. Proficient in written and spoken English to effectively document notes and communicate health provider’s instructions. Capable of completing required documentation, department logs, and reports. Familiarity with standards, policies, and procedures pertinent to home health care. Possession or willingness to obtain certifications in CPR, First Aid, Medication Assistance, and Safe Food Handling.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent qualification. Successful completion of a level 2 background check. Clear Tuberculosis test results and free from communicable diseases. U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work within the United States. Reliability and a compassionate disposition. Completion of Home Health Care training.
