The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, particularly seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in a home environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide patient care by monitoring health status and reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and tidy living environment. Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation as needed. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Maintain accurate records of services provided and client progress. Adhere to safety protocols, including CPR techniques when necessary. Experience Previous experience in senior care or home care is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
