Job Description
Currently looking for Direct Care Staff•Multiple Positions Available•Eagle Medical is seeking compassionate and dependable Support Specialists to join our team, providing care both in our residential group homes and one-on-one with individuals in their personal homes. You will provide personal support and daily assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live with greater independence, safety, and dignity. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobilitySupport individuals with daily routines and independent living skillsHelp with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping dutiesAccompany clients on community outings and recreational activitiesMonitor safety and emotional well-being in a respectful and encouraging wayFollow individualized care plans and complete required documentationCommunicate observations and concerns to supervisors promptlyMaintain a positive and structured home environment
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma or GED requiredPrior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plusMust be compassionate, reliable, and patientStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow instructions, work independently, and remain calm under pressureMust pass a Level 2 background screening and have reliable transportationCPR, First Aid, and relevant certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)- Must pass a local and level II background check- Must have reliable transportation to visit customers at their residence•Equal Opportunity Employer•
